The Problem:

Our client made use of an ERP system housed on their Microsoft SQL Server. The canned reports from the accounting system were limited and not fully customizable. Whenever the accounting team was required to search for transactions with specific criteria they would need to make use of their IT team to retrieve the data via SQL queries.

This resulted in inefficiencies due to having multiple people involved to gather the required data.

The Solution:

We built a customized solution which allowed the user to query their ERP database with natural language as opposed to SQL. For example, the user could ask plain English questions and receive the desired result or report from their accounting system.

The Result:

The tool has allowed all members in the accounting department to query a database without having any SQL knowledge or having to get the IT team involved. This has saved countless hours, has freed up the time of the IT team and has improved the efficiency of the accounting team by allowing them to get instant reports or answers to their queries.
